EFSD presents at Development Partners' Coordination Council meeting in the Kyrgyz republic

The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD, the Fund) has participated in a meeting of the Development Partners' Coordination Council (DPCC), bringing together officials from international financial organizations and development partners. At the event, the Fund presented key trends in sovereign financing for the Kyrgyz Republic in 2025, including data on the largest donors, financing structures, and priority sectors of support.

According to the data presented, international financial institutions, development agencies, and climate funds approved USD 981.3 million in sovereign financing for the Kyrgyz Republic in 2025, across 55 operations. The majority of this financing was allocated to investment projects. Among the primary areas of focus were economic policy, the water sector, energy, transport infrastructure, and social development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants commended the EFSD for its ongoing work in monitoring sovereign financing across the region.
