On launching the 3rd competitive selection of social projects to be funded by grants of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development
1. Resources Manager of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (hereinafter referred to as the EFSD) announces the 3rd Competitive Selection of applications for grants to be funded from the EFSD (hereinafter referred to as the Competition).
2. Grants within the framework of the Competition can be provided to the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan.
3. The amount of Fund resources allocated for the said grants, following the above 3rd Competitive Selection, totals 9 million US dollars.
4. The amount of the Fund resources available for the provision of grants to each EFSD member state specified in paragraph 2 of this Notice is 3 million US dollars, without limiting the number of Applications from one EFSD member state within this amount.
5. Grants for financing one project are provided in the amount of:
- no less than 0.5 million US dollars and no more than 2 million US dollars for projects with a implementation terms of up to 1.5 years;
- no less than 2 million US dollars and no more than 3 million US dollars for projects with a implementation terms of 1.5 years or more.
6. Grants within the framework of the Competition are provided in the following sectors:
- Education;
- Healthcare;
- Good governance;
- Social security and protection, including food security.
7. The deadline for accepting Applications is within 60 days from the date of publication by the Resources Manager of this Notice.
8. To qualify for participation in the selection process, prospective recipients must submit before the above deadline Applications in the form of the appendix to this Notice, signed by the head of the executive authority of the potential grant recipient, responsible for the proposed project design and implementation, with a cover letter, signed by the authorized representative of the EFSD Council, addressed to the Chairman of the EFSD Council.
9. Reception of documents:
- original documents must be sent by mail to the Chairman of the EFSD Council;
- scanned copies of original documents, as well as Application files in Word format with attachments in Excel format - by email secretariat@efsd.org, msinyanskaya@efsd.org.
10. The above Applications will be reviewed in accordance with the Regulation on Provision of Grants by the EFSD (approved by the decision of the EFSD Council dated September 29, 2017, protocol № 33) and the Criteria for Selection of Applications for EFSD Grants (approved by the decision of the EFSD Council dated May 27, 2016, protocol № 26).
