Assignment Title: Selection of an individual medical equipment consultant

Recipient country received a Grant financing in amount of US$3,000,000.00 (three million US dollars) from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (hereinafter - EFSD) towards the cost of the Project: Improving preparedness for COVID-19 outbreak in the Republic of Armenia: Detection and response to coronavirus threat and intends to apply part of the funds for consulting services.
Consulting services (“Services”) include the preparation of technical specifications for the purchase of medical equipment and devices intended for equipping medical institutions: branches of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) of Ararat in Artashat city and Armavir in Vagharshapat city (hereinafter referred to as the branch Ararat and branch Armavir) and a new building of the infection center of “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC in Vanadzor city (hereinafter referred to as the new infectious center). A detailed technical specification (hereinafter referred to as the TOR) for completing the assignment attached to this Request for Expressions of Interest. Detailed the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the implementation of the assignment are attached to this request for expressions of interest.
The estimated duration of the assignment is: 12 months.
The planed commencement of Services is: January 03, 2024
The “Health Project Implementation Unit” State Agency of the Ministry of Health of the RA, acting as project implementation group (hereinafter referred to as “PIG”), invites qualified individual consultants (hereinafter referred to as “Individual Consultants”) to express their interest in providing the Services. Interested individual consultants should provide documents and information confirming that they have the necessary qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
Qualification requirements:
- 1. Higher education in the field of technical or medical sciences;
- 2. Experience in developing technical specifications of medical equipment, installation and testing of medical equipment, accounting for maintenance, repair and necessary upgrades of medical equipment for at least 5 (five) years;
- 3. Confident command of a computer, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others);
- 4. Fluent in English and Russian languages;
