EFSD Participates in High-Level Dialogue on Regional Financing Arrangements in Bangkok

EFSD Managing Director Iaroslav Mandron highlighted key institutional changes under way at the Fund, presented the draft EFSD Strategy for 2027–2031, and proposed hosting a seminar for regional financing arrangements in Astana in 2028.

The dialogue also brought together International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and heads of other regional financing arrangements that form part of the global financial safety net.

On the sidelines of the dialogue, the EFSD and the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) signed a memorandum of understanding. The agreement was signed by Iaroslav Mandron, Managing Director of the EFSD, and Dr. Fahad M. Alturki, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the AMF.
