EFSD completed the mission of comprehensive macroeconomic diagnostics in the Republic of Belarus

From June 29 to July 2, 2026, the mission of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) for systemic economic monitoring (EMS) of the Republic of Belarus took place. During the mission, consultations were held with representatives of government agencies, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, the expert and business community.

The parties discussed the current macroeconomic situation, medium-term economic development prospects, the state of fiscal and monetary policy, indicators of the external sector and financial stability, as well as key risks to economic growth and sustainability. Special attention was paid to inflationary processes, investment activity, structural constraints on growth and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of economic policy in the medium term.
